Fire destroyed a total of 19 houses. Houses were built by the villagers with Bamboo and leaves from the nearby forest. The military government has niehter social program nor the rural development program nor emergency relief program in placed, since 1962.
Another 22 houses were uprooted by the local-villagers to stop the fire. The reconstruction of the village was planned and executed by EWOB, and its volunteers.
Rebuilt & Restored, Karenni Camp. Donations came from sympathetic fellow men like you. Villagers thank YOU.
